"NO RESERVE AUCTION" An original old early Indy 500 USAC Member Gold Pin & Cloth Patch from I think 1955?? On the front of the Member Gold Pin say's AARWBA "American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association"
and on the old Member Cloth Patch say's AARWBA with a Race Car Wheel with Wings
!!!
The American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association is the oldest and largest organization devoted to auto racing coverage. Founded in 1955 in Indianapolis, AARWBA has grown to more than 300 members throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
This came out of the Myron Stevens Collection that I have been listing on EBAY. The Member Gold Pin still has it's original gold screw on keeper. These early rare gold pins were given to the Race Car Life Member registered with the USAC to be a Mechanic & work with the Indy 500 Race Car Drivers & Owners at a sanctioned event!!!
